I am making a call to RS.SetItemDataSources from an .rss file passed to RS.exe. I receive the error rs.ItemNotFound when I know the item exists and the path way being passed in is the correct pathway. Even when hrad coding the file path I get this error. This has all come about after making the move from RS2005 to 2008. I use the call to SetItemDatasources to set the datasource when uploading the report, which no longer works the way it did in 2005. I need to be able to get this to work as I have no control over the datasource names used during development. I have been researching existing blogs and documentation and have not found anything that is a solution yet.
