I created report which include employee daily schdule. One page consists of one employee schedule for whole week. And also I create one drop down list which consists of employee name. Which is multi value list. When I select one or more employee from drop down list, based on that value, produce employee Schedule(s). I have two questions. Please advice me if possible to do it in SSRS.
1. Drop down list consists of around 200 records. Therefore it is difficult to find employee(s) need to tick. Is there any possibility to filter these dropdown list in someway. For example, let's assume Anne Simth, Saman Thires Silva, Anush Pawan Gresh, Ajith Perera .................. etc. When I type 'A' ( simple or caplital letter) (Provide somewhere to type letter(s)) need to display Only name which are start from 'A' (i.e. Anne Simth,Anush Pawan Gresh, Ajith Perera ) in the drop down list and tick what I want. Likewise type different letter need to filter name list and tick what I want. Onec I finish all selected employees, click view report and then display their schedule.
2. At the moment I only created one drop down list (Multiple values one). I want to create another drop down list which also multiple value one (To display employee number). Thing is When I create two multiple value drop down lists I always need to tick both selection. In my case Some times I only tick employee name and need to click view repoort. But unable to get report because employee number also is to be selected. I set to both dropdown list allow blank value but not success. Any commets of this issue.
