This report requires a default or user-defined value for the report parameter

I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but I'm struggling a bit with this.

We are running Sql Server 2008 R2

I am getting this error when calling the rs.Render method, but not all the time.  It will fail sporadically.  I am rendering hundreds of reports exaclty the same way, and the majority of them run without any issues.  Then, for no apparent reason, one, or serveral reports will fail with the ReportParameterValueNotSetException.  Then, I will run the program in the debugger, and it will run just fine, most of the time.  If it does fail, I will try it again, and like magic it works.

The parameter it is complaining about is always the same one.  It is set up to Allow blank Value, and Allow multiple values.  No dependancies.  Available values are provided by a query.  Default values is set to No Default Values.

I am confident that I am providing the paramters correctly because the report succeeds more often than not.

Any ideas?
